All cabochons on this site are cut by Abigail and polished on all sides. For easier stone setting, the girdles are slightly angled with light chamfering on the back edges.

Some cabs may have small vugs and other natural imperfections like micro fractures, which generally have to be at least partially healed in order to withstand the rigors of cutting. Some vugs are intentionally included as a feature, such as those lined with sparkly druzy.

Backing formulas may have some air pockets.
