Rough Slabs
Rough slabs on this site are not polished or otherwise refined - the surface may therefore have saw marks, small edge nicks, and/or protrusions where the slab severed from the blade. The vast majority of slabs also have some degree of natural fracturing, which were present in the stone before cutting. Slabs on this site are always pictured both wet and dry to best show saw marks, fractures, and other flaws (which are easiest to see on dry slabs), as well as the closest approximation of how a material will look when polished (which is easiest to see on wet slabs).
