Citron Chrysoprase Cabochon

From Western Australia comes this beautiful chartreuse magnesite. Also sometimes called Lemon Chrysoprase or Lemon Magnesite, it seems to have earned the chrysoprase moniker due to its close growing proximity to that material. It doesn't always have a matrix, but either way the yellow-green color is outstanding. This trillion cab is showing a beautifully delicate matrix across the center, culminating at the crown, with a division of a truer yellow towards the top, and a lighter chartreuse flowing into the bottom half.
