Fishnet Jasper Cabochon

Here is another fantastic stone for anyone who loves black-and-white and/or fine-line detail. It comes from Africa and isn't always the easiest to find. Though referred to as a jasper, it cuts softer than a true jasper and takes a lighter, almost matte polish. The micro webbing of the lines on this cab are superb, all flowing parallel to each other in a fine array, like tiny specialty threading. I don't think I could draw lines so delicate even with the finest Micron pen. Cut in a classic oval shape.
