Kingston Copper Rose Slab
Kingston Copper Rose Slab
An absolutely fantastic choice if you love metallic inclusions! The lighter areas of this slab are literally copper inclusions (capturing the shimmer of metallics is tricky in photographs, so you’ll have to trust me that it is copper). This material is named after the mine it comes from in Michigan, but is sometimes also referred to as “Copper Rose Conglomerate.” Copper inclusions float within a bed of brick-red to deep maroon felsite breccia. Gorgeous stuff! Note that the natural copper in this material does tarnish over time, just like any other copper, so polishing it will bring it back from a deeper red to an almost light gold color.
This is a rough, unpolished slab. Please observe images closely for flaws, as some degree of that is normal. Pictured wet and dry.
