Leopard Skin Jasper Slab

Though this material is often referred to as a jasper, it’s technically said to be an orbicular rhyolite, and can therefore be a bit softer than jasper on the MOHS scale (anywhere from a 5-7). It often includes linear streaks that periodically run through the surface, which lend more dynamism to the overall scene. This slab is showing deep pink and olive-green orbs against a light, creamy rose backdrop, interspersed with red to fiery-yellow streaks.

This is a rough, unpolished, end cut slab. Please observe images closely for flaws, as some degree of that is normal. Pictured wet and dry.
