Ocean Jasper Cabochon

Ocean Jasper comes from the northwest coast of Madagascar and is an incredibly wild material in terms of the variety of colors and patterns it can be found in. The dark areas of this cab are actually a deep emerald-green quartz that, when held up to light, become semi-translucent with quite a bit of internal sparkle. Ghostly white orbs encased in daubs of taupe color punctuate the rest of the scene, along with a gossamer passage of light blue that resembles a jellyfish floating in dark water. It's an otherworldly vibe. There are some tiny to micro sparkly quartz vuggs, which are almost entirely on the back, and more are visible just under the surface, making for surprising light play. The cab is cut in a clean "bullet" shape.
