Rhyolites

Rhyolite is an extrusive igneous rock. It is the volcanic equivalent of granite. Some silicified rhyolites may be referred to as jaspers (which are metamorphic rocks) even though they are technically rhyolite. This section may include materials referred to as jaspers, but they are actually rhyolite.
